last week Deco got ordered mecenaries and because there wasn't a report from our gaming recently I decided to change that
we played 2 games each for 350pts per side; in the first iron lich was facing old foe sorsha, in the second one - deneghra was confronting ashlynn (mecenary caster);

battlefield overview:
cute country, perfect place for deadly battle of living dead and hardboiled khador casted supported by mean mecenaties;
on bottom pic You can see Deco fielding destroyer...

deployment is completed: swarm of infantry vs deathchickens and ultraevil cryx solos;
speaking about infantry - Deco ordered pirate box and I must say these models are great! 6 different models in the box! if I didn't play cryx...

first round: Deco moved all troops forward, Sorsha casted windrush (heineken token ^^) and concealment for models within 12" from her (tyskie token ) (damn, cannot remind that's spell name ) and that was end of round 1

my turn:
I decided to split my troops - 2 chickens and solos were supposed to be flanking force, while iron lich, bokur and the rest were supposed to me striking force (good idea, worse than crappy execution...);
and to do first damage in game I moved deathripper as close to devastator as I could and took down some damage boxes from hull casting iron blight;
I wanted (prayed for this actually ^^ ) deathripper to engage enemy forces for a moment so bokur and lich can engage the melee

unfortunatelly Deco didn't turn out as good friend as I thought: he made my ripper stationary (another sorsha's stupid spell... ), hit with devastator's cannon and finished off with massed attack of pirates... poor guy
well at least enemy got closer to mine troops...

flanking continues: 2 chickens advanced closer to action, lich and bokur also changed mind and used building as cover;
pistol wraith took down 2 pirates -> recieved 2 soul tokens (weeee...!!!) -> 2 rised joined alexia (not weee... anymore);
another pistol wraith binded destroyer with death-chill attack and machine whaith came as close as it could to take control over the jack in the next turn (or at least distract Deco's attention from other dirty plotting )

as the veteran Deco knew very well that friendly jack under enemy control sucks so he concentrated pirates around devastator so mahine wraith cannot put it's dirty mechanical hands on it;
sorsha fell back using windrush and concealment-spell, alxia was trying to destroy mahine wraith with her death-magic but luckly for me - she missed!

the final:
I knew I have to get rid of alexia and risen so pistol wraith equipped with 2 tokens tried to shoot that b!tch but unfortunatelly she was only wounded and sacrificed some risen
there was nothing left but trying to kill sorsha in good'ole asphyxios style:
one of arc nodes ran 14" to get as close to her as it was possible so lich could cast boosted breath of corruption several times
after 3rd shot sorsha was dead - game over

Ech... don't saw it coming. Hope for bird flu in Cryxianland soon :plzdie:

Deco rolled higher for deployment so he fielded infantry on the flank, warcaster, eiryss and nomad in the center;
I didn't have much choice so I fielded my troops in the line waiting for mecenaries' move...

I didn't have to wait long for first move:
whole infantry was sent ahead getting very close to my deployment zone, nomand advancd forward protected by can't remember what now ^^ IIRC he for bonus to def against ranged attacks or maybe it was speed bonus...
and the last thing - eiryss:
she was sent on my left flank to do sth really bad to my warcaster in the next round if I won't manage to stop her somehow

deneghra's rage was devastating: one of chickens was sent close to eiryss and after arcnoding booster venom eiryss' bones were bleaching in the sun
bane thralls advanced but decided to keep the left side of table because of alexia staggering just behind buildings like...
as for my right flank skarlock casted crippling grasp on pirates, wraith took down 2 of them and was hidden behind deathripper

one of risen was turned into thrall warrior but he didn't mabage to hit my ripper (that whould hort especially with 4d6 for damage roll...), remaining pirates moved closer and were trying to shoot my right glank but thanks to high defence value, seasons spent at military training ground and toruk's "good" will all shots missed
ashlynn increased her speed while nomand came really close supported my spell which allowed him to make free move after being engaged... nasty!!!

I hoped to take down risen or two with lucky deviated nightwretch's shot but unfortunatelly the template landed on enemy caster doing her no harm
denny launched feat and with help of skarlock managed to venom-down most of infantry nearby;
just after there was more space pistol wraith moved closer and shot alexia in the back - 2 soul tokens and feat left her not much chances for survival
deathripper engaged remaining pirates and bane thralls and bokur attacked nomand... but didn't manage to destroy it!

ashlyn launched her feat as it was east to farsee - bokur was nothing more than pulp of mangled meat it wasn't enough for ashlyn so she and her deadly tou also took down 2 bane thralls

at the beginning of my round we did quick calculation: denny with 8 focus points, pistol wraith and 4 banes behind enemy caster were enough to end the game as this point - so cryx achieved another victory that day

You mean "special" token-generator? ^^
we usually "generate" 2 tokens pew side during the battle but this time we had only 2 "generators" for both battles

I guess I was tired and half of bottle/token (or maybe boken or tottle ^^) was too much for me
we hope to play demo game in NEW local store this saturday so Deco has a chance to take his revange
