Eldar officer sculpt (wip)

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

Eldar officer sculpt (wip)

Post by TerminusEst »

This is a commission piece I'm currently working on. I just sent this pic over to my client and I thought I'd just put it up here as well. In case you're wondering he will have a sword in the right hand and a pistol in the left.

Looks good so far.

Reminds me a lot about early edition Jes Goodwin Eldar. He also used tubing back then, don't see them used now andymore. Nice!:)

Hehe, glad to hear that, it's actually based on a Jes Goodwin sketch :D

I'm considering lengthening the legs that seem a little short below the knees, but it might just be an illusion...

Very good, but I think other models will be my favorites from you...
Lacks a bit of sharpness of details for me

I think the anatomy is actually good but is deceiving because of the helmet.

@Demi: My guess it's Pro Create he's using.

Hmmm... it does seem to have a tiny bit of proportion problems... seems the scale for the bottom 1/3 of the model is a tiny bit smaller than the top 1/3. Might just be me and/or photo, though.
