Another newly painted model(s) from me, this time the terribale twosome. I have the old versions and a while back got th newer version, and well I figured I'd give them a go.
I started them Sunday (Gotrek complete) and Finshed them entirely on Wednesday (felix finished Monday, his sword Tuesday and based the pair Wednesday). And well I'm happy with the way they came out.
I will applogise in advance for any bad pics, and once more I have three versions - all are the same models but from different zoom lengths (I'm testing the best look still, though I could be in need of a better camera).
Anyways, the pics

Nice job on the pants, I think the Trollhead could use a little more shading/highlighting. Other than that nice mini's!
RE: Gotrek and Felix
I like the way you shaded Felix's cape - it's not too harsh, but smooth and natural
The skintones also seem to be well done, as well as the striped pants.
The head might use another highlight, but I love the bloody part of it
Good job.
I wish the pics were better.... What I don't recommend is using wide-angle (zoomed out) setting on your camera. And aren't some of the pics too wide?

Yes, I had problems with the head actually. Due to my blue ink almost hardening up, it left it hard to get a nice deep shading to it. And highlighting I dunno, I don't have many blues in collection but I'll see.

Yo don't need to use blue to shade blue - you can add almost any dark color: black, or even one of browns.
If you use orange-ish brown added to the blue, you will achieve the "complimentary color shading" which is mre natural than shading with just a darker version of the base tone.

And if you want to make a lighter blue then mix some white or bleached bone into it!
