today afternoon I had a great pleasure to re-discover warzone game
that was my first game system (when it was I started hobby? 10 years ago? ) but after long break we got rules for previous edition and decided to put some life into old, unused models
today my legion faced bauhaus patrol - we were playing short 350 vs 350 pts battle but that way more than evough to bring lots of joy!
in this section I'm gonna put whole stuff dedicated to warzone so hope soon it'll become full of posts!
conclusions from today game:
-razide is hard-ass tough guy
-apocalypse spell rules!!!

It was 12 years ago. You old maggot It was real old school. Without a piece of terrain, painted minis and a table, rosters in copy-books, all night battles (the biggest one on 5000 pts.). Great times. And like you said it's time to put some life into old, unused models. So my thoughts after last battle are:
* they've lowered some stas for good (there's a lot of rolling and a little hitting)
* some minis even today looks good (razide)
* 350 pts. is way to low for good killing
* razide is real bad ass killing machine
* some players still haven't painted minis (me )
* some minis still looks like crap (Valpurgius)

nope, that's called classic

after second warzone battle I can surely confirm that:
-apocalypse still rulez
-paratroopers can be really nasty - especially if they are pretorian stalkers landing just on enemy's back

tonight we had another encounter: imperial wolfbane commandos' were struggling against capitol freedom forces - and won!
looks like massed fire of aggressor pistols can definitely win the game!

Hmm... can hardly win the game, Demi. It was your Hurricane who mess my troops. But I've answer for it, just wait...

next time I'll field 2 of them
