Are these part of the 40mm range or am I thinking of a different miniature range?

no idea what scale is that: I just know it's wicked and I have never seen anything similar before!

Its not 40mm, but it is bigger than most 28mm. I have yet to hold one of them in my hand (something I wish to remedy) but the few photos I've seen show them to be about a head bigger than most of my minis.
