damn great quality - I think that the French painters represent pretty different style and quality than the rest of the painters. Don't you think?

yes I think french stile is more soft, french GD show softer and often smoother color transitions than the other GDs
i like very much the extended use of NMM. i don't enter in the question of realism, but i like NMM as exercice of style

Well, the French painters are excellent at using metallics, too.
I just meant that they have something different in their styles. Something which makes you think "ah, this must have been painted by a French painter!"...

*sigh* Ok, now that I've seen those I'm not entering at Baltimore.
Come to think of it, I doubt I could get something ready that's actually really good in time for Chicago.
