It's not exactly new news, but I got to meet Nav not long ago. In person!

I got to see a few of his sculpts in person, and they were AWESOME! And guess what... I got to see something he PAINTED! Really!

Oh, and I got to see a little bit of Portugal, too.

I am impressed and envious:
- that you met Nav while I haven't, even though you're not an European while I am
- that you saw his works
- that you're not disappointed
- that you've been to Portugal
- that you can show it stands up to my expectations
- than Nav could see you without going across the ocean

Lucky yes, but I also had to travel 17 hours to get there and had to work several looooooooong days while there. It was really neat to meet another person that I've known from Headblast/CofC for several years, and Nav is a sweetie. He even brought me a gift: a limited edition mini from GW Spain (the Marco Polo-based mini)!

I'll be TRULY lucky when I get to attend a meeting in Poland! Right now only Italy is in the works for later this year.
