don't like them... :?
I know they probably have lotta details and painted can look brilliant but horses probably are not my cup of tea...
and as Nav said - these plastics are treachery of rackham's original creed

AFAIK they want to release prepainted plastic minis. This somehow clashes with "multipart" ;)

Where? Look at the cavalry base and compare it with models. They are huge. Huge surfaces, not many details on them.
I still like those knights though.

Another plastic model - also a big one. I;m waiting for human-sized plastic mini. We'll check quality then.

Is the rumour true that they want to release all the core troops in pre-painted plastics and only characters in metal?

mate, no one is more pissed than me i can asure you :censored:
All these big endless discussions about it that i have been involved only led me to confirm one thing... Rackham is not there anymore for me.
besides as big boss said in comunication:

"If we have chosen assembled and painted plastic today, it is only after two years of research and production tests made to reach what we are able to produce today, i.e. the AT-43 range. The excellent results we have had with this range around the world, the positive feedback we regularly get and the strong support of the many store that believe the future of miniatures gaming is in assembled and painted miniatures, have proven that this range has quickly convinced the players who were able to see beyond the petty-minded plastic-metal debate "

so people fans for years of their metals that do not want plastics are pettyminded... well im one and Rackham will not have my money for sure.
but worse is then prepainting plastics... and oh some will be... articulated.

incoming yo joe toys.

as for both these 2 plastics releases
cavalary is extremely boring and doesnt even resemble rackham to me... big fella wants to be everything in one mini and fails horribly.
Not a bit convinced specially when 1st plastics from abberation prime are still the best... yet big kit.. no man sized thin ankle mini to see how good are plastics.
