Like I said on Dakka Dakka - I saw Alan piece in progress at Montreal in the fall - and it has turnout FAR beyond what I would have expected (though admittedly just as well as I SHOULD have expected)

So many great pieces - more than a few of which astound me in many ways - I honestly had that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that I havent had in ages. I know there are MANY better than I in this hobby but man these pics show a whole different world. Which means I have two choices - get better or give up. I think I had best log off to go paint.....

just a question of patience and you should be able to trash all you learn since years, to rebegin with new theory and technics
