Not sure what to do about colouring at the mo?

I need to re-do the face as I messed that up a bit.
I based and washed and highlighted the main suit and some how it just ended up like I had dry brushed it?

Wash the face with some purples, and when it's dry - glaze it with thinned blue.

As for the armour - I don'treall know what happened. It really looks as if you had drybrushed it. Maybe repaint it with thinned paint several times to make the surface flat and smooth, and then paint highlights on. You can overdo them, because you can use a glaze or even a few glazes to reduce contrasts and tie the colors together.
