Something that You can call "Lothar's Workshop" ;-

Post by Lothar »

Hi!

Here are two images of a sister of battle which I recently finished. I painted her on level 2 (no fireworks attached ;)). Plus my camera really is disfiguring the colors ;/ which makes my a very sad panda ;(

blending is well done..but it missed impact, i mean that on a white basecoat, the impact will have been better, and i my opinion the highlights are to uniform...may be try to put higher highlight in higher part of the wing and armour.....

as for the rest color schemes, and technique..it's very good...the face seem to be well done too...keep go on

@Lothar - unless you use natural light, most cameras have problems with representation of colors. you can fix it in most of graphics editing applications.

I like this miniature - as for level 2. Even like it very much. With sharper hjighlights of sharp edges it could become level 3 IMHO.

@Illusionrip - Yes, I agree it lacks something in highligts, but remember he told us it's level 2, so it's supposed to be a nice tabletop quality mini.
