Blood Bowl!

Do you still remember that some people use miniatures for gaming?

Blood Bowl!

Post by Skrit »

Seeing the topics about GW's older games I thought I'd bring up this one! :D

This is still one of my favourite games to play. It's fast and fun to play, we always have a good time playing it with a lot of laughing!

We used to play whole leagues a few years ago and boy do I miss those times!

My favourite teams are: Skaven, Halflings and Greenskins.

Does anybody around play BB, and what are/were your teams?

I know, I know... The problem is the same as with all the other games - I have no time to start another one...

I have too little time even for my primary system - 40K :(

I understand. This is an easy game to learn though and you can play it in a very short amound of time. (I sound like a GW salesman now... )

I read this rulebook and I must say that is fantastic !:) All those frenzied fans and this atmoshpere of brutality :D
I want to start playing it. But with my friend we decided not to buy the basic box, cause we don`t need those basic teams. We have already bought dice via ebay (thx a lot Mahon :)). Now I`m preparing to build football field from static grass battlemat.
On the web I also found this site:
http://www.tritex-games.co.uk
Guy sells used models cheaper than from Mail Order and has also all templates that are needed for BB game. Has anyone bought something from him? Any comments?
If I get reply from him I will probably order a team and sth more.

Good decision Szary!:D

The rulebook itself is free and there is no better fun than to make your players yourself. Especially nowadays with all the great plastic kits out it's fairly easy too!

Skrit: Firstly I want to buy original Skaven team, cause it`s faster and I want to them to my skaven collection. But you have right - this game is really funny :) And I have no idea that there is global BB league - NAF! Ther are very well organized

Demi: Necromunda will be my next step after I make my own BB team. And of course I will finishing touches to my Skaven Mordheim Warband :)

Guys, guess what will be my Necromunda gang! It`s so hard question
