Its pretty much just paint with a much higher pigment to binder level then normal.

What do you think? Good idea? Has anyone tried them? I wonder if we can expect something like ?3 a pot or will they be normal GW paint prices.

I have to try em before I buy em, ;).

I think they are going to be more expensive, but not that much more.

From the descriptions, sounds like they are trying to get a similar coverage to the P3s. Don't know if they'll be successful. The limited range of colors means GW only intends them to be base coats, like the name implies. I don't think I've got any need to buy paints specificly for base colors, especially with my P3s. I still use Dark Angels Green, but that covers just fine.

we could arrive to superb effect with the paint we already have....it's useless to buy some new paint....what is important: good brush, good paint, good light, good preparation of the mini, knowledge of color and it's everything....for me there is no ultimate paint...gw are enough, andrea too, reaper msp....so why a new paint (may be to make more money, like the collector brush set at 75 Eur (useless too))

I think you nailed it, Stefan. There is an will be no ultimate paint. Everybody can prefer something else, but it's a matter of preference and getting used to something. I prefer Vallejo and Reaper's MSP to GW paints, but it doesn't mean I cannot work with them...

Agreed. I'd love to see new lids/bottles/pots from GW instead of "foundation" paints, though. It's all just more money for them anyway.

But maybe, just maybe they really came up with something new here, I mean you cant really say they are useless untill you tried them, right?
