Ok, i'm going to keep my pics of a specific race to one topic now, rather then flooding the forums with lots of BA posts, now i'm just going to post all my goblin stuff in this post.

So firstly, here is the first goblin i painted.

Group shot of all 3 completed units. Next is probably 20 archers.

Converted up my 3rd troll now and undercoated and basecoated (airbrush 15 mintues!) them ready to start painting them. I'm quite pleased with getting a few different poses out of the bfsp troll, its not the easiest model in the world to make look different. I'm not even sure i'm going to use these in a goblin horde due to stupidity and poor night goblin leadership. Think i'd rather use my rare slot for a giant... I'm going to paint these up anyway as they look cool, and if i only painted things that worked in army lists, i'd be painting landspeeders and assault marines for the rest of my life with no variety!!!

Anyway.... yay airbrush!

what makes me envious is the quality/speed ratio you manage to keep.

I have to work fast, I have a full time job, so its evenings and weekends only, but even then its not all the time, as i live with my girlfriend and its not fair on her. So i kinda spend my non painting time, organising, planning, and thinking about techniques, so when i get to the minis, i know exactly what i'm going to do with it. I pretty much plan out and visualize what the army will look like, and adapt it as i go along. I try to add in new techniques whereever possible to keep me fresh and push myself forwards. A good example of that was my terminator sergeant for the Blood Angels, i painted my first stubbly head on him and further refined my bluey nmm power weapons on him. The new technique for the goblins is wood grain i guess, you can see the grain on the first gobbo pic on his spear. Was quite pleased with my brush control on that, but am now dreading it as i have a total of 160 gobbos in the 1500pt army!

well you picked the largest army (except for skaven maybe ) out of the warhammer range and you're still painting it at a top standard. Very good stuff.
The spiders themself look very realistic btw.
