This month we are pleased to bring you Tallah the Swordmaiden. This figure was sculpted based on a concept by Anne Foerster, paint goddess extraordinaire. Tallah is a fierce warrior of the frozen north lands. Her twin swords are her trademark in battle. She is $4.99 USD and comes with a 30mm round plastic slotted base.

Not sure if I like this one. I know it's a fantasy style, but it is hard for me to "believe" in fantasy model, if it goes too far from reality.
1/ North + snow + cold. She looks like she is preparing for a bikini contest.
2/ This lady is slim, she'd have problem to carry one such sword. She carries two... Not to mention, that she apparently uses them at the same moment.

I like the face, it's the best part of your new mini.
Can we see the concept art somewhere? I didn't realize that Anne paints not
only minis :)

Indeed, I know several miniature companies that bring out less realistic mini's than this one.

I kinda like her, she's quite natural looking for a change but agree that the swords are a bit on the big side...

All I got was a text description.

Those should be magical bracers giving her exceptional strength.

See - fluff does drive the market!

And she is wearing a "Leather Vest of Warming" so snow is no problem. Cool looking fig. :D

Thanks for fluff part of the mini. She indeed looks more natural now with all those magical items  ;)

1. Did I say, that this is the least realistic mini I have seen in my life? ;)
2. I've not said anything about anatomy, only swords and clothes.

Just base her on some jungle base and she'll become more realistic ;)
I like her, even though I am generally not too excited about females with oversized weapons :P
One thing is sure - she ain't a beauty ;)
