Just for those that have not seen them yet. Much better than the old ones IMO

The only thing I dont like about them are those sheilds, they just seem a little small and odd shaped for my liking. Wonder if you get different ones for the spearmen (round ones) like you did in the previous boxed set

BTW why doesnt my sig come up when I post?

Excewllent IMHO. As good as plastic minis can get. And they look very dynamic and are in great combat poses!

good mini. very good. I think there never was a Schwarzhelm mini, right? But he's been present in Empire armybooks since the 4th edition.... or so I think.

I really like it too - it's nice change from mostly crappy sculpted empire characters...

Troops are better than previous ones, but they confirm, that multilple part minis do not make as varied unit as GW states :) I see 3 version of common troopers and command group there. I although start to dislike warhammer units - you buy, paint and use 20 models, of which only 10 are visible :D

WTF is that angel doing there? Helping to carry the standard? OMG - this is one of the few things that I hate in the 40k imagery. Angels flying low... Now they put them to fantasy also
Apart from that , Blackhelmet is quite ok. Good to know, that GW is able to make 2 types of horses, not 1. Standard model for troops, and one upgraded muscular for heroes (nick-named "Archaon 1.01").
Head - especially beard and moustache - looks like taken from one of old dwarfs I just can't recall the exact model.
