Dear all, :D

I am writing an article about "What is a miniature?" You know, some people just do not know what it is, while all of us here talk about or touch it very day.

Please give me any links, your ideas or words about it. In terms of scales? 35mm, 54mm, etc....and what is the difference between a miniature and a model? Can we call Gundam a miniature? etc...

Imagine I am writing this article and the readers have never heard of the term "miniature" and never saw it before.

Thx a lot

Cheers :)

Hmmm, where to start...

First look at manufacturers websites. They often have a short description of their business.

When I have more time I'll see what I can find for you!

a miniature is, well, a miniature. :) a tiny version of a fictional or real life version.

Think of it as a tiny statue, sculpted on a 28 ( or other ) mm scale. That's what differentiates it from a model, which aren't sculpted but put together.
