Base looks pretty good, I suggest some very thinned down washes of browns and greens over the stone parts to break up the grey a bit.

a skull accent would also look nice - just for a contrast

Okay, been doing some painting and the Ultrabeakie has come out crap, the paint I used was way to think, my highlights were too bold and it looks more like a Crimson Fist than an Ultra Beakie, so, should I change model? I would keep the same base but use this model instead:

It's the Limited Edition GW Anniversay model,
So what do you guys think? should I change models?
Ohh...and thanks for the tips on the base, I had ago, and I'm pleased with the results.

Show us the Marine first, maybe we can see what can improve or what you should do differently in the future...

imo highlighting seems to be done too fast. I can see UMBlue step, then white step. Try to use a bit bigger arena and about 5 steps of highlighting...
