Hey guys -

This is my first attempt at NMM. I was very impressed with the armour inside the cloak but the blade looks crap! I had 3 goes at it and just painted the one over the other so it turned into one big disaster. It should be finished by tomorrow but would you guys be able to give me some pointers on how to paint NMM on blades. Being predominately a GW mini painter I havnt had much exposure to NMM.

First time NMM ? Really nice for me.

=> Silver NMM - on armour it's very good, but on the blade I will add some more highlights. I prefer a scheme like this :

=> Golden NMM - For me it is too yellow. Try to highlight it to white (only on edges) . Also you can make it a little more contrasted (more brown for me).

But overal mark - very good for a first time .

I quote midlcu. If I were You I would rather choice 'make it a little more contrasted', because now hair and gold nmm are quite similar..
