Plastic is fantastic. I can accept rackham as a bits source. I hope is cheap

When I see this and GW plastic minis, I would say that GW minis are worth only to be source of bits. The rackham mini is much better as a mini.

I am not sure, but from the pic, the plastic rackham uses are sth similar to the Japanese animation 12" figure's materials - resin.
If that is resin plastic, the quality is much higher than GW's plastic.
Resin plastic - more delicate, can bear much more details, also goof for filing.
GW plastics - once u file it, the plastic will have peers-off and some sand-like or hairy stuffs to come out.

Cool minis indeed, hardly can wait to hold one in my hands...
@Hosea: You shouldn't file plastic minis, use a knife instead and scrape the moldlines off.

Leaving sculpt issues aside - this looks like a good quality casting.
And it won't be cheap because of its size

Price may still be good , of course.

looks cool, but I hold my final judgement for when I see the plastic at the LGS. At least I hope that the sculpts aren't that fiddly anymore, and that the moldline problem will be reduced a bit. A good thing is that if a plastic part breaks, it's easier to fix than a metal one

Nope... That rackham stuff looks like from cheap horror movie with loots of silicon stuff in it. I prefer minis that are more like from space opera. I love Hasselfree and GW. Its something nice and funny in that minis.
I do not see "nice and funny" factor in Rackham stuff.
They are just pretty stuff.
We can compare GW to Harleys, Rackham are like a japanese bikes. I prefer Harleys, Mahon Kawasaki. Nothing wrong with that

once again Rackham is lowering the quality of their products to get more audience
not sure if I like that
