today I have said goodbye to a good friend of mine. I worked together with him for many years, but lately it became clear to me that I couldn't continue our coöperation.

Here is a picture of him, you can clearly see that he is in bad condition and doesn't have very long to live. Goodbye, old friend.

there is a buildup of over 1cm of paint on my mixing palette, built up over several years of painting. there is no more room to put my water and mix my paint because there is too much dried up paint. :/ so as of today I am starting with a new mixing palette :D

:D I thought you'd be glad I got rid of it :) but my new palette is another disk so it doesn't matter all that much.

I still miss my first palette... Exchanging it for a wet palette was a fair deal, but .. I still miss this old box lid. ;)

Good luck at breaking in your new palette! :)

I use a white ceramic tile. Cleans off easily, extremely cheap, and re-usable for years. :)
