Hi all,

I just thought that I would announce that today I have launched a little site which I hope will become a little hive of activity, I am not looking to compete with anyone else but just want a little community where people of all levels of painting and modelling ability can get together and have a little chat and show off some stuff.
The site is in its infancy and it is by no means perfect as I ma not a competent IT person but I think I have it off to a good start. I would love to see some of you on there and if you have a mind you can get there off the following link.

Cheers Tim.

Don't we have one here, Tim?
Sorry, but I don't see a reason to create another similar site. Wouldn't it be better to "reinforce" CoC? I'm sure that your person would brought quite a few people here.
As I see it now, instead of one big nice site, we will have two nice smaller sites, which will be very similar and will often include same topics with same painted models :)

Anyway, good luck with your project.

I kinda share your point of view, Nameless. The idea behind the worldofminis seems to be the same as the general idea behind CofC. I think that simply people want to run their own sites, just like I always weanted?

Well, time will tell if there is enough room and need for yet more such places. And I wish you, Tim, that such a site is needed and wanted. Good luck!

Your points are valid guys, but I feel that the more sites there are on the hobby then the stronger it becomes. My site may not survive but I just wanted to try it.

Keep it going, Tim. It's fun (and a bit of work) to have a website and run it!
