reaper helljack - WIP

so...
here are wip-pics of my latest warmachine toy...
the jack is varnished with satin/glossy spray (I had no time for matt varnishing yet...) and pics are shitty but it was all I could get 5mins before the necromuda battle :)
the mini itself was slightly converted, I also added some gs and wires;
unfortunatelly on these pics it cannot be seen :(

very good Demi, I love the blue glow instead of the green that cryx use to have. My only 2 real point of critique is that you should define the edges of the armour plates a bit better imo, and a little bit more variation. like an other color for tubes etc.

Still very very good. He doesn't look gay at all :mrgreen:

seriously the metalic is well done, it has this aspect of all rusted machine

yeah, that's the pain in my ass... :?
I'd like to higllight the edges more but otoh I don't want to loose overwhelming rust feeling...
painting metallics took me 30 mins;
painting rust and wathering - about 1,5 day... :(

The glowing effect looks great on the battlefield pics.

Sure, take a very light metal colour and thin it down with water, blend it on there and Voila!
