I wanted to ask this question, too. I hope they aren't....

Hmm... you know.. I do not like. Well Felix and Max look pretty damned good but Gotrek, Snorri and Ulrika are not very good in my opinion. Ulrika looks like a Tina Turner wannabe, Snorri looks badly posed and Gotrek looks way, way too thin.

I dislike the way they all seem to be moving, Gotrek is going to fall over whilest Ulrika is tapdancing or something... In fact the only one that looks great in his pose and overall look is Felix.

I have heard this is a group based thing, as in they all come as one. I will of course still get one (the books rock) but I am still unsure about most of the models.

Felix looks very cool.
Gotrek looks like he's thinking "now it's only several inches and I will catch you!". Well, at least his hair is hair, not this wide and tall bar on his head like on the first version of Gotrek mini.
Snorri looks as if he was to throw his weapons like javelins or darts.
Ulrika is dancing - that's right. "Flashdance" came to my mind...
Max looks pretty cool but the photo shows hardly anything else than the cape...

Anyway it's still a great set IMHO.

I like Felix. I'll perhaps like the wizard, but I have to see the front first.
Gotrek is falling from a rock. And IIRC, his axe shall have "glowing runes" according to Bill King's novels.
I don't like Ulrika, but that's just IMHO.
What has Snorri got on his head? 3 coloured tubes which somebody thrust into his skull???

This set look like it is provided for rpg gamers. Is that true?

running gotrek position makes him look like a retarded, specially with the tip of his foot on top of tip of rock ( fat fella on tiptoeing)... bad composition would be much more interesting to see forward leg firmly on ground and back leg on air...with waving axe... felix great though.

There are so many great pictures of Gotrek that there was really a lot of sources for inspiration...

Aye, Gotrek could have been much better; the number of pictures are rather many and great looking. His axe should have runes but as it is in fact the axe of the dwarven god Grimnir (and twinned with that of Thorgrim Grudgebearer) it can be let off with its current look (all previous incarnations have looked the same).

As to the things in Snorri's head, they are suppose tobe nails. The slayer is renound for having a heard head (in fact he fell out a gyrocopter onto his head with no adversed effect  ), so drove three nails into his hardened skull instead of a crest of hair. This version just does not show them very well and mulitcoloured? O_o
