how to handle resin

Last weekend I bought some Fenryll miniatures. So since this is the frist time I'll be working with resin miniatures, I need some advice.

First of all: cleaning, I've heard dishwashing soap is best, but someone else told me I had to use dilluted lemon juice. So what to do?

Next: cleaning mold residue: I assume I can use a hobby knife and needle file here just as with regular metal minis?

I also want to remove the miniatures from their bases (yes, they are molded on their base), how can I do this? Just with a knife or sanding paper? I've done this enough times with Reaper minis, but I'm afraid I'll damage the resin minis.

Thanks,

I wash them with dishwashing soap, sually clean them with a hobby knife and files, and remove parts with my hobby saw. Warming the resin a bit with a hairdryer or keeping in warm water helps by making the resin a bit softer.

if you are going to remove them from their bases, don't use plyers, because they will bend the figure or break off large parts of it. A little saw is better as Mahon mentioned

I just picked up resin models for the first time. Any other hints regarding preparation and painting resin minis?

just watch out - these are pretty fragile and can be broken with ease
