Chest of Colors forum

Wheee no pics.

I just got the Command Squad box and man, those it has everything I need. 0_0 From tabards, to purity seals, to a crouch position legs, awesome shoulder pads, two small and one big banners, powerfist, plasma gun....etc etc..

So anyway I am trying to paint them with the best ways possible.

For the apothecary, I wonder painting him fully white or partially with a bit of yellow on the armor, and I wonder NMM gold will work on the Champion's helmet, as his armor will be yellow.

Also, a bit on the TT side, the standard bearer is carrying a boltpistol? Can I give him a plasma pistol?

Okay some updates.

Here's a WIP shot of the Company Champion, I hope the gold NMM goes well with the yellow. (Yes there is a mold line, dang my laziness)

The gold NMM looks quite good but I don't like the combination with yellow...

Yeah the NMM looks great itself but combining it with yellow armour isn't a good idea imo.
It blends with yellow and loose its metallic look a bit.

I agree, the NMM is very good and is easily distinguishable from the yellow armour. But the two go a bit strange together...

Yes, almost no difference between the colours. But to make it a bit better, from what I can tell it looks like the NMM is pretty well done.

Too late to change this guy but in the future I won't do gold NMM on yellow anymore.

So here's the finished company champion.
Is he tilting forward? If yes I would have to change the position.

very good job on the vials, do you mind giving us some kind of mini-tutorial on how you did it?

Only the pose of the Champion doesn't convince me...

Forward? For me it looks like he's tilting backwards
