Barbarians - good proportions, but there's something about poses, that I don't like.

Minotaur - nice and big. And quite similar to the recently released Reaper minotaur - check here

Naah, usually I find some of Ilyad minis too exaggerated or too complex for my taste. But this time I somehow like this minotaur. I would like to see both versions painted by the same painter :)

BTW do you remember when there were some miniatures in Reaper's line which were very close to some other manufacturers'? Eg. to rackham's fiannas, etc.? There was pretty much talking on CMON about that...

I like this version too, it's less clumsy than reaper and confrontation ones.
the sad thing is that ilyad is expensive here... :(

Reaper's is making generic fantasy models, that could be easily used in any traditional fantasy game (D&D, wfb etc. and their own Warlord, of course :) ). I do however have a feeling sometimes, that some of their releases are aimed to replace specific models, This ogre has been released just after GW Ogre Kingdomes has been published. These are however rare cases.

As of Rackham - is is a very specific style, but I remember few models, that could be influenced by Rackham style - this goblin, for example. Minotaur I've shown above is also quite Confrontational. I do not recall any "fianna" models at the moment.

I really like the Minotaur. The women are quite nice too and I think in pretty good proportions, not like many other female sculpts with too big boobs and impossible poses...
