here's my latest work. I think I achieved a nice balance overall, especially with the pose. the horse leans abit to the side, but with the zombie coming from the ground the balance is complete imho. comments are very much appreciated !

I like it a lot. It has a nice and dark vibe to it.

Some points though;

I think there are some areas that look of a higher standard then other areas. All the jewelry looks amazing. A very high standard. Same for the red barding and the turquoise/blue dress. But the upper parts of the purple barding and the red 'saddle', are a lot harsher in highlights. I think it could be smoother. You did solve the problem on the horse's neck nicely though.

Freehand on the barding is great! And so are the skintone and base.
Great job overall :)

Very nice. She almost has a spectral feel to her, I like!:)

Only thing for me that doesn't really work is the checkers, maybe in another pattern (instead of blocks do like teeth/jagged, hard to explain, hope you know what I mean...) it would've worked better...

I like this mini. Specialy compossition and freehands on horse-cloack.;)

Olly one 'but' is black-white board on red material, the squares are a bit crooked imo..

It has a good vibe, maybe thats what you want but i love the horse it is awsome. And the vampire model is well painted but never liked that model.

skrit, I know what you mean and when I look at the model now you are propably right. but after so many hours it's very hard to pick up a 'finished' miniature :)

I might fix the purple barding on the left side of the neck though, it does look a little rough in places.
