Mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can think of nowhere else to place it.
And first things first
This is NOT mine but I thought you all might like to see what the Eavy Metal Team painter Darren Lantham can do with his first go at NMM

I followed some of his progress on this one too and I must say it looks incredible!
Maybe it could be put in Showcase but as this is someone else's work I not really sure... Ah well, it's good here for now untill Mr. Latham tells us to put it in Showcase. (I know he's a member but more of a lurker...)

pretty sweet. I like it because it's not really that 'up in your face' NMM. Great work from him.

I have seen Darren's work alot and have been a big fan to be honest, this for a first attemot at something that is very hard to master and something that I am convinced that I shall never be able to master to me makes him very deserving of his place in the Eavy metal team.
the mini is an impressive mini and I think this is the best version I have seen since it was released. the freehand is fantastic also. All in all it doesn't get much better than this.

And why would you when you can paint metallics the way you can!

Some minis just lend themselves to NMM and this is one of those minis I think, I have seen versions of it in metalic paint and though I have not painted this one myself I just think it looks better in NMM.
