My very first MidNor. He was for a local store contest. I didn't do anything to the base because he was already glued to it and I thought the base was supposed to be left alone. Oh, well... I loved painting this mini. He was just fun! Oh, first attempt at any sort of NMM. (not certain of pic quality, I'm on a laptop)

Comments welcome, but he's finished. Thanks.

Um, the pic seem a bit dark, so hard to give fair comments, some detail parts cannot be seen clearly. I like the white bricks, it is not pure white, it looks like the real stone brick which is painted white and has been some natural weathering, good. The overall of the mini hasa unique style, quite some blacklining make the whole mini seem a China (the broken-able decoration which is molded by some clays), quite an interesting style.

Interestingly enough, this mini reminds me a recent Japan Anime Movie (Howl's Moving Castle). The following link has the pic of the castle and you can search some more pic of it by the movie's name. I do not know about in Europe or North America, but this movie and the director's series are highly reputated in oriental world. There are many by-products including miniatures of his anime movie series.

Howl's Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli. Great show.

As for the mini it looks so fun yet so strange.

You did good work on smooth blendings and weathering effects; besides painting is clean so my conclusion is:
bravo!

I like it. Good job on the nmm, and the weathering is nice. Lots of character in these Mid Nors, will have to pick up some and take forever to paint them  Glad to see some of your stuff :D
