What exactly are your problems with it? Can't you get a proper coat of it on your mini's, having difficulty with shading or highlighting, etc...
My way of painting yellow (which I find very hard as well!) is to first put a coat of bleached bone and and then the yellow. I find that this makes the yellow easier to catch. (as in not as many layers) Adding a bit of light brown to the bone makes the yellow come out a bit darker. Then I mix in white or bone to the yellow and highlight it. After the several blendings a wash with thinned down yellow ink to tie it all in together.

Ya, im having problems wioth the undercoat showing through. Not alot but just enough to tick me off. Do you do a black or white base coat for your scheme.

i always use white coat
it's hardest to work a mini in a white undercoat but the result is more shiny
begin with the black undecoat is easier, but for some color you have to paint the part in white and then with your color (yellow, red, skin)

welcome to the forum!

as for me I probably know what is solotion for Your "yellow problem"

You just have to put more watered down layers on the mini
I know that yellow soesn't want to cooperate with some undercoats (black for example) but as I mentioned: many thin layers of paint is the key
