Chest of Colors forum

heya,

I started working on a second mordheim warband. I allready have a couple of models picked out, but more will follow eventually

this is the first one :

only the metallics and purple shirt are completely finished, it's a long time since I did a metal armour this big, so lemme know what you think.

I like the armour, looks rather nice and worn. The purple I am unsure of, the highlights seem to blend with the base colour too much. Though I do usually prefer this.

so far looks ok; the only thing I'd change is a shirt: imo it's shaded too little...
otoh it may be just a matter of personal taste: I just like well shaded minis

The metal is good. I like the purple, gives him a chique feel.

How did you texture the base, I like it alot. I'm getting ready to paint a warband myself, but haven't decided on the colors to use. Yours looks pretty good though.

I really like his face, it has character.

the base is pretty straightforward : it's a strip of cobblestone that I bought from the hobby shop

Nice work so far, but I think the shirt could use some extra highlights. The metallics are good. Simple but good
