Very nice conversion. Somehow to me his anatomy seems a bit wrong... Could be the beer I've had tonight though... ;)

Wow, I like it a lot - the colors, the composition, the concept, the face, the details.

except for one tiny detail - the pointing fingers, they seem like they are too straight, or well... they seem a bit unnatural for an armoured fist. but it's only my own opinion, and I can see no more problems with this mini.

yes mahon i think you are right, I modeled them after the fingers of the artwork, but noticed too late that those in the codex are completely wonky!! lol...so I tried to get them look good again and after some repairing i was satisfied.

I like it a lot. The armour looks really battle worn with all these scratches. Great work.
But there are two things I don't like: The staff and the banner.
The staff is very dark at the top. I would have liked some light spot in there to brake up the darkness. It lacks a bit definition because of this.
The heraldry of the banner seems a bit loveless. The Ultramarinesign looks good, but the eagle is too flat for me. Maybe just a lighter grey tone inside the one already there, so there is a dark grey trim (auf deutsch: den Adler mit hellem grau ausmalen, damit das jetzige Grau eine Art Umrandung darstellt).

Apart from that, it is really great work, but these things really struck my eye.

great convo there it must have taken ages to sculpt all that, great freehand on the banner and battledamage very nice. another almost flawless entrie... almost because the gaunt head is very bad taste
