Been dying (excuse the pun) to paint these since i saw the greens.
I always have great fun painting any of the Hasslefree Kids
Any way for your viewing pleasure i would like to present Katie and Peter the
Hasslefree Zombie Kids....

These guys are pretty small (about 20mm to the tip of Peter's Crowbar) but great fun to paint, took me about 5 hours to do the pair and i went for a school uniform look to the clothes in case it's not obvious
Whaduyutink?

Very nice, the skintones look very good! Maybe a bit too healthy for Zombie kids though...

hehehe, another Lonewolf's minis with a character!

the only thing I'd add is gore splatted on boy's face and shirt: imo he should look like a zombie-killing-berserk!

gw dark flesh base coat. then tanned flesh over the top of it then i add dwarf flesh to the tanned flesh for the highlights, gradually ading more and more until im using pure dwarf flesh for the final highlight.
just depends on the size of the figure as to how many layers i need to build up a smooth transition.
i think there is about 5 stages on theese guys from dark flesh to dwarf flesh but bigger figs need more stages to keep it smooth.
also very important to keep the paint very thin

Thanks man

I'm writing down some flesh recipes, as I allways have troubles deciding what colors to use or what tone I want

I understand what you mean ToMaZ. I always decide on the spot what coloured layer to put on next! A bit like cooking really, oh I'll add a bit of this an a pinch of that...

Such sweet little children, doing their part to rid the world of zombies

Great minis, i really enjoy your work. I have to agree with demi, the boy could use a little more blood on the shirt, after slinging that crowbar around surly he would get some blood on his shirt
Great job
