Green Stuff and stripping paint?
Re: Green Stuff and stripping paint?
PineSol cleaner in USA works VERY well. It is a pine based cleaner, takes off acrylic paint very well and does NOT damage plastic (if put in short time) or metal. Soak for 24 to 48 hours for metal. Plastic soak for short time.

Re: Green Stuff and stripping paint?
Actone will remove the greenstuff
Actually i've found Dettol (or simple green, depending where you are in the world) which works well on plastics, does actually remove the bond between the greenstuff and the surface you're working on.

never washed off GS - to be honest I don't like painting over GS
Re: Green Stuff and stripping paint?
There is a threat that if You will leave GS in brake fluid for too long (e.g. few days/weeks) it will come off and become elastic as rubber. Because of it I have to make some parts all over again - it's impossible to paint, primer goes off with every touch.
