Yeah, they do look a bit LOTR. I don't really like the plastic models (could be the paintjob) but this model looks great:

On the ilustration the elfs are very delicate. In reality they are still like a block. In my opinion the elf should be looking like the Thunderbolt Mountain elves in our gallery. (I mean the silhouettes)

I love the TM elves, even though some people say they aren't realistic too. but how can an elf - a fantastic being - be realistic?

It should be more dynamic. It is not looking natural.
