Another small bust from me after long long time... Was real pleasure to paint (and painting bluish tones makes me feel so gooood :)))

you could push the light higher in right part of the face, with some light pink and yellow colors

Great, I love the face, skintone.

So, I like much more the WIP photo you have lately posted. You can see more on it - for egxample redish tones of face.

Great work on that one! I really like the bronze metalic work with the blue. Very nice!

could you give some tips how you did the metallics?

I am not sure if I am the right one to give advices, but here's how I do my metallics:

1. several lightly dilluted layers of metalic colour applied on undercoat to have solid metallic surface (I use Vallejo Game Color)
2. applied one or two thin layers of GW washes (Devlan Mud obviously) to reduce matallic shine and lightly define recesses
3. I prepared several 'juices' (very dilluted colours, in fact just coloured water) - some bluish tones, some violet, some brown and started applying in many thin layers (bluish into recesses violet and brown into shades on back of helmet) until it becomes visible
4. final highlights I paint with original metallic colour, for strongest highlights I mix some white into metallic

That's all, quite simple, isn't?

sounds very simple, looks terrific - I bet 100$ I`ll do something wrong :mrgreen:
