The Defiler would simply climb 'over' the wall!
I do admire the time and effort that's put into it but for me a diorama has to be simple on the eyes (with surprises built into it you only discover after you looked at it a couple of times) and it has to be clear on first view what is going on.
As Phil said, the Marines have seem to be added just for filler and I don't think it's properly thought out in the end...
