Yellow is still a b#... but now im just going for Tausept Ochre then Tausept Ochre+golden yellow, and finally golden yellow the highlighs are just a little lighter, the worse part are the shadows, i dont want them brown, now trying with a greyish.
I think this are ok for gamming and i just want to finish the troops, the dread i will try to paint him above gamming (will see

My favourite is the plasma guy the weapon turn out pleasnt to the eye
I was searching (yes still
) and my impression of the great imperial fist in CMON is that they dont really use shadows and little highlights, but make the eyes look somewhere else, some with detail others with batle damage, im i right? and coments?

they look good I painted one cpt. Cortez and it wasn't that bad

I agree with Panda, Captain Cortez mini is ugly (though painting is really nice, just hope my SM won't be like a stain in the topic cause my painting lvl is now as good as most peeps around here)

Even If you paint only half of your army that it is a success
and if your army is 8000pts strong than even 25% is great

just have fun, most of us started the TOG just to finish one or more amies.
