 interesting colour choices, i really like some of the blends they are really smooth but its a bit much for a monday morning. Alot of the colours in my eyes clash and don't go well together but still it is nice. Im not keen on the white edging on the bits of armour aswell, it's a bit too much i think, maybe something less extreme then white?

what is blood on a tree made of? polymer glue mixed with paint?
thanks demi :) he seems to be very much a 'marmite' figure.... its 2 part epoxy clear glue mixed with tamiya red clear + black, if u leave it to set a while u can make it stretch quite far (make sure, unlike me, u get the fast setting stuff or ull wait for ages for it to get to the right consistency)

It seems deliberate, so maybe it reflects some story or whatever.
tbh i think its ur typical old school chaos colours, u look at any french gd chaos mini from the last 10 years and the colours wont be too dissimilar, granted the tiger skin clashes, (i dont really like it am, just strugglin to think of anythin better, zebra, snow leopard? i know someone is going to say just do a normal wolf one, but he has purple skin, wouldn't it look out of place?) and the boots maybe a little too 'shiny shiny' so i can wash them back, but, if u have a look at the underlining colours am using scally green, catachan green/snakebite leather, dark flesh, lich purple, their all colours iv used in a similar way on alot of different minis, so for me its not a step away, maybe a different slightly different use of colours, but isnt that a good thing, to push the boundaries to see what else you can do?

if i was to dull down the boots i think the armour would look better, the highlights arnt actually that bright irl, iv only used small dots of white

well, the problem is not with colors clashing, and you're right - there have been minis painted with this color combo. not my favorite though, but it's more of a matter of taste than any objective fact. technically it's a good work, but maybe I got used to your more natural and muted style and liked it?

Anyway you're right - it's good to push the boundaries. Without it we'd still be painting like in the 80s :P

Nothing wrong with the execution but I also don't like all the flashy colours used.

Insert bad joke mode: He hails from a dark realm? Good thing he gives light from his own then! :P ;bad joke mode off!

Just kidding mate! :bonk:

You bet! :D

But seriously, I believe that in earlier 80s I would love to look as good as Limahl. Come on, he had one good song. Of course good for the 80s :)
But still, I used to be his fan.

And then he cut his hair :bonk:

come on, what is this?

The technique is decent.
The colors have already been discussed and I agree that they are quite controversial.
You should've named him The Rainbow Warrior (although some may find it too gayish).
