I don't know... Either the harsh transitions make me like it less than I expected or maybe they exaggerate some weaknesses of the sculpt? Anyway I preferred other paintjobs from you, or maybe my expectations were too high again?

On the other hand the picture is very big for what I assume to be a small miniature, and the picture is misleading as it suggests the miniature is bigger than that.

MAHON: May it be, you are expecting more than I can offer :) The back side of cloak is not as clean as possible and I think few layers may bring it to level I will be satisfied. Let§s see...

come on, it's not your task to paint to the quality which will satisfy me. as I said - the photos are very big, so all 'problems' look bigger than they are too...

Don't worry, I'm about to paint things to satisfy myself, not you Mahon :)

I normally don't do that, but in this case I saw under normal ligth, that Nameless was right. I was finishing and photographing Halloweenstein in night under lamp-light and didn't notice that the cloak was not painted well. So yesterday I tried to make it smoother and photographed again...

After LONG time my another bust attempt :) Ïlnimar is beautifully sculpted mini from Enigma Miniatures and is real pleasure to paint. My version shows hardened fantasy warrior steelt by many battles. I hope you like it too
