Maybe it's just me..., but I would submit that that T-Lord is ready for entry into the GD comp! Am I missing something? If I could pull off NMM like that along with the free hand that was added I would be fairly confident entering this model.

Thanks for the vote of confidence there DF, but i still need some smoother blending, it doesn't show up as well on the photos but i think some areas could be improved quite a bit. I need to get some close up shots for him sometime anyway so i'll show you what i mean. But i think i will try this year and see how well i do. Maybe i can even pick up some tips from the peeps there if i mingle a bit.

WL i think you might be right tho, i might need a break away from tsons. Im working on two non-tsons pieces atm :) one of which im hoping to enter in Salute if i do a good job of it.

And now for something completely different. Taking Wraith's advice i've been doing this little piece:

At the moment the coat is about 75% finished everything is glazed on at the moment, and then i need to blackline some of the separating areas. Deep blue belt i think with black or brown boots, not sure about the fluffy trim, might keep it grey but i need to add some more features to her face too. Oh and some fun free hand on her clothing too. Its nice working on a completely different model.

Comments very welcome be as harsh as you'd like ;)

it's friday and I'm gonna have fun today so it's impossible for me to be harsh
nice to see female tson from different manufacturer :) as for her dress I'd probably glaze it also with other color than blue to enrich it

1. great job on the coat/dress
2. I would apply some colder shadows to the skin to bind it with the clothes.

Great job, it shows much more of your skill than the Tsons

The dress is looking good but what really strikes me as being well done is the face. Very smooth and nicely highlighted.

Thanks all for the nice comments and helpful tips. I have done more of the painting tonight but i think im a bit tired to continue now lol. Anyway here are the wip pics. The stockings and sash are almost done but i want to clean them up a bit more and create a smoother blend but im relatively happy with them. The hair is only at the base coat at the moment and the metals need a finish. Anyway comments are very very welcome.

Brilliant work on the boots and leggings, they are just what the Mrs wants for X-mas.
