It seems that I started a discussion by accident, so I would like to add just a thought or two.

I like Ultraforge products and support their effort as a company. They supply high quality resin miniatures at reasonable prices. Some of their stuff is one of the best models I've seen (the Tree woman in particular

). It is also obvious that those works are to some degree inspired by GW IP as simply by targeting the gamers they can increase potential target group for selling their products, thus making a living out of it.

Yet I think that they are able to create products that fit into the market, at the same time being fresh and original. That's why I started the discussion since their Greater Plague Demon appeared. This is too much for my taste. It's a clean ripp-off the FW demon:

Especially that they can do original works as seen on the Pleasure Demon - obviously a Demon of Slaanesh, but still a model to their own style and not risking any legal trouble on GW's part. If they can do it on their own, then why should they copy?

As for the Wardemon it is true that it might be consider a "generic large winged and armed demon", but still resemblance to the FW cannot be unnoticed. Why not just stick to fresh and own ideas, instead of copying those created by others?

In my humble opinion you're overreacting and looking for trouble where there is none.

Trov is trov, deal with it. Everyone here knows that Trovarion can sound harsh and like a smartass (sorry Trov, but you are

) but I don't think that you need to feel offended by it. The shit part was never directed at you. Only thing that is directed at you is the 14 year old part... and even that isn't really offensive. It's not subtle but not offensive either.
The caps aren't needed, I agree... and Trov could have worded things differently, but like I said he just being himself.

So, if you can't take that, instead of making the matters worse follow your own advice: "Of course best course of action would be just walk away and be quiet about it, and I actually now regret not to do just that."

We're all a friendly bunch. Ask around. Like on every other forum discussions can get heated but that's no reason to post statements like "it doesn't pay to participate" , "I'm leaving" or "I don't even want to lurk here anymore"
That type of statements backfire... and the first one is just throwing oil to a fire.

So take a deep breath and move on.

Seriously theres lots of nurgle themed things on Ultra catalogue and what i find even more ridiculous on the cmon pic description about UFnurgle greater deamon they said they got inspiration on books and stuff...
