the only thing I think about is the georgous skintone
maybe I also try to paint larger-than-average-mini again?

Pants indeed look like they need a highlight.
leaving the pants aside (pun intended), toes of his right foot do not look as good as the rest of "skin parts". it looks like you have used wash and not corrected it afterwards.
Thx for pics, waiting for more.

@Demi - I'll say that yet another time - yes, try the bigger scale at least once. It's fun, really. You also seem to enjoy painting big models, so you have another reason to give 54mm (or bigger) a chance :)

Holy COW! Top notch quality!

The skintone is one of the best I've seen in quite a few recent weeks! And definitely yourt best so far. The face looks excellent now!

As for the weaker parts: toes are poor, pants need highlighting. Something has to be done with the ends of strands of hair. Also maybe a nice tattoo would make him even more interesting?

remember, that Thomas stated about highlights, that are not visible on this pic. If he now highlights pants even more, model could look worse in reality.
Your choice, ToMaZ :)

Damn you guys, you interupted me fro; my Baldurs Gate game :D

Thanx for the comments: On the toes: I have only used a wash to define the shape atm. When I was painting the skin I decided to do the hands and the foot afterwards at the same time, because I would forget them anyway while concentrating on the large areas. That way I can do the toe- and fingernails in one go too without forgetting about them also ^^

The hair: you're right, it does need more highlights on the lower strands.

About that tattoo. I'm not sure if I'm gonna do that. It's a bit too common on large areas of skin. Instead I was thinking about painting hair to his belly and underarms. Maybe his back too. Not too much because I don't want to cover everything up because I'm proud of the skin :D I just need to look up some examples to see how I should approach it. I know of some nice historical examples by Jaume Ortiz, Ernest. And there was this pirate ogre from MathieuL that had that too.

Thanx again for the comments, it's much appreciated :)

They need more highlighting. I really thought that I had done enough highlighting yesterday and kept it smooth too, but this morning it was smooth but there was not enough contrast. You can see it's highlighted IRL but just not enough :)
