Yes, it is, because

ok thanks for confirming that you think i am an idiot.
*blink* Are you sure you're reading his reply correctly? Or are you saying that you are somebody who "that nobody should say anything about a wrong-doing unless it's done to them" and are therefore stepping into his insult?

OK, guys. Apologize each other, plz. Aren't we still fellow miniatures-enthusiasts? :?
the point is...what do i have to apologize about?

I apologize to Artemis for making the impression I want to insult him and maybe not stating my point clear enough...

Artemis dont put all in same bag my friend

depends of many diferent factors such as what to sell and who to and kind of product etc etc.... its a bit redutory and a bit naive to put all on same bag and claim to have found the logic on how publicity works   not even old timers publicity pros claim that 8)

has for our scibor topic.. he prices himself very expensive! and sell! how many can do that?

i know those who dont like scibor work might be a little agravated with the prospect of helping him with their negative threads  so perhaps if you guys let it rest might help your cause more... think about it

the point is, if someone likes the stuff he'll buy it. no matter how often you say "thief"

We have Greenpeace, and a number of german/austrian equals protesting in front of Peek&Clopenburg all day and still people go and buy their furs *shrug*

I believe you've just proven me right. The saying 'There's no such thing as bad publicity' cannot be compliant with your position that you can't put everyone in the "same bag". The whole point of the saying is that you 'can' put everyone in the same bag.

I'm not really certain what you're rolling your eyes at, you're not replying to anything so you seem to be doing it at your own sentence?
To answer the question though, 'not many'.

In retun perhaps you'd answer this question. How many people could get that price if they simply bought one of Scibors sculpts and made copies of it? I mean that's ok right?

Yeah, somehow I don't think that's going to work really. To test it out perhaps you could go tell the kids that Gary Glitter raped and tell them to be quiet in case sales of his records go up. People aren't going to be afraid of bringing up possible law breaking in case the law breaker gets more popular.

That isn't a case of people breaking the law. Milli Vanilli had to give their grammy back and refund thousands of customers who no longer wanted their music when they found out it was a fraud.

You break the law you take your chances.

artemis, no offence, but your "i know a better example than yours" way of posting is making it hard to get anywhere ^^ therefore i shall continue with my duro-intoxication and give up...

I was trying to say, that even if you posted on the ebay-main site "Scibor uses moulds of whatdoiknow" people wont stop buying if they like it...

I find when people use analogies that have nothing to do with the subject at hand that the easiest way to remedy it is to give an analogy that 'is' to do with the subject at hand.

Greenpeace protesting furs had nothing to do with piracy and fraud or breaking the law in any way. Mine did.

You weren't so much trying to say it as succeeding in saying it plain English " the point is, if someone likes the stuff he'll buy it. no matter how often you say "thief" "

My point in reply was that yes, some will. Not all, there are plenty of people who buy rip off watches and clothing too but some don't.

As long as the word is out then people have the choice of buying or not and have all the current facts rather than just the sculptors word for it. More importantly 'retailers' have the facts and can decide whether to stock them or not. Any who chose not 'will' harm sales, that's guaranteed.
