I think GW came to a conclusion that it's easier to sell one big model than 30 small ones...for me it sure is easier to paint one big than 30 smallarctica wrote:i wonder if this is GW's way of competing against PP's battle engines.
warhammer was once dubbed in poland "herohammer" - armies in one edition were really dependant on heroes. we may be now entering the 'monsterhammer' age

It's definitely an interesting thought and I'm with you on this one in that i'd prefer to paint one huge monster than 30 small repetitive things.
