Yes its a mask. It meant to be the same sort of mask that are on the normal puppets, but smashed up. I have to say the pic I took isn't doing it justice as it has melded a little, It is more defined in RL.

I wonder if the sculpt can do this artwork justice...

Thanks it is nice isn't it, but its not one of mine. I was hoping to paint this, but the guy that sorts out the work, thought I had said I didn't want to do it. Never mind I will just buy one and paint it for myself.
