Thanks, i hope i have that patience too but actually im using this gang as a way to break up the monotonous army painting which im doing. So far in between all the orks i've painted 1 tyranid warrior and 5 genestealers so it is helping.

Quickie update, progress on the painting front is good, i managed to do more of the torso and clean up (sort of) the tools and do the skin on this model.

I am finding some of the features on this one a little rough around some of the edges, which i should have cleaned up earlier. But it's not massively noticeable, actually i did find some of the details a bit confusing as to what was what and where went where on this guy. Maybe i was just tired, still i think i have most of it sorted out.

I'm gonna ask mahon to attach the sig under your avatar: "Gareth #2" should work fine...

Cool stuff! Very impressive. I've only noticed (Ahab) an inverted direction of gold nmm on the hammer, comparing with the silver nmm. I'm not sure if it's correct... it looks a little bit unnatural for me. Altogether the color scheme is fantastic and the way you put highlights keeping the colors vivid is stunning.
Can't wait for more

I did find this model a little more trickier to paint than the others so far but that may have been because i was lazy in cleaning up parts of this model and generally i still prefer painting plastics to metals. But still this guy was fun and i wanted not to rush him, so i ended up redoing his weapon a few times etc. Anyway onto some more nids then another pirate ork this weekend. Not sure which i'll do but we'll see

rrright - someone has to say that: stop that! you're painitng speed is pretty annoying...
