14/2010 - Dragon Hunter
Another one from me - Mordred of Muspelsheim Wyrm'sBane from Red Box Games (2nd RBG mini I painted, but first for my collection). For me it's just a Dragon Hunter.

Another wow for sure, this is so different from your other models. It's like you've just levelled up and painting on a whole new scale. The NMM is really good on the sword, the blends are really good, for me the colour of the armour is a bit strange but it's different and that in itself is good in this case. I think perhaps the face could have done with a tad more shading and somehow gain a bit more focus but it's a very minor point.

Wow Phil, you've made such an improvement this year. Unbelievable!!
On this one you really created a nice atmosphere. The NMM on the sword is great and so is the armour and base!
Points of critique: The tree looks too drybrushed. Maybe you could have used a couple of glazes or washes to hide that grainy look a bit, while still keeping the details of the outer bark. The shield on his back looks a bit flat. And like Arctica said, the face disappears a bit in this work and could be more of a focal point.
I think this really is your best work to date! Great job!
