You can see some progress on the flat here but be careful - you are doing it for your own responsibility

I am amassed that I didn't post my biggest miniature related achievement - honorable mention at Hussar 2011 - Nokjägerin from Pegaso

Nice job on this one and congrats on the honorable mention. :)

Just some thoughts on what could have helped her place:

Somehow I like the skin on the ogre's head better than her's. But not because it's smoother/better painted/or whatever - I'm just missing some final lights. Somehow her boobs are drawing more attention than her face (sssssssssh no evil comments about that :P ).

The metal parts are TMM, am I right? Anyways adding some deeper shadows would have pushed that a bit especially those sculpted details on the swords gold handle-thingy.

For the cloak, waaaaaaaaaay more highlights. Maybe it's the picture but it appears quite flat. Pants, base and everything else are great and once again overall a really nice paintjob on a great miniature. :)

I actualy did it on purposuse to highlight the boobs more then the face (I knew Nameless would be in jury ;) )
Metal pars, especially the golden ones could have deeper shadows - agreed, but the photo is a bit yellowish and doesn't help. Regarding the cloack - it is painted that way and it was the most difficult part for me to paint. Not happy with it, but also lost the idea lhow to paint black.

Finally guests came that had a notebook with working card reader (mine is dead). I could copy the pictures from camera and show you what I did.
This is probably the first flat on the forum. It took me some time to undesrstand how to paint such things and I am not happy with it. Tha paint was splitting all over the flat, and many parts had to be repainted. So my lesson was to use less diluted paint. For sure I will try to paint more, but not soon ;) It was lucky enough to get honourable mention at Duke of Bavaria 2012.

This miniature was in my Hall of Shame for almost 2 years. The base was few time redone and the miniature was painted in a hurry. I am just happy that it is done ;)

In August I had a long break from painting miniatures so I really wanted to paint something and finish it fast :) I got this one as a present from Slawek from Titan Forge company. He was one of the judges at Grey Seer competition in Gorzow Wlkp. I finished him in 3-4 hours

Nice work for 3-4 hours. If I could manage that, in that time, on any of my models, I'd be a man with more painted models. :p

First sorry for crappy pictures. I think I am using too strong bulbs, even for my light tent. I just wanted to show you that I paint something :)
Those were painted for my 4000pts ork army. There will be some more orks soon - chariot, spear chukka, Azhag, normal boar boyz and Gorbard.
